Resonant Oracular Meditation

This working runs on several ontological assertions:
1. Panpsychic Nonduality: Existence is itself conscious, and all consciousness emanates from it and is linked through it.
2. Fractal Holography: Information about the totality of existence is encoded on the smallest expressions of existence, and this information expresses itself in fractal patterns from which all other existential patterns can be extrapolated.
3. Tonal Resonance: Every extant thing is composed of energy, Matter is energy vibrating at a rate that repels certain other energies and thus creates the illusion of solidity. Energy is vibratory by nature, possessing frequency and pitch. Oscillators in a vibratory system can cause other oscillators to tune to their frequency in a resonance cascade. Similarly, oscillators can be tuned to resonate at a certain frequency in order to detect resonators of that frequency within their range. This can be used to transmit information.
4. Temporal Constance: Time is a constant that can be visualized like a string of prayer beads. While each bead, here representing a moment, exists separately and in a specific sequence, they are also all extant at once. In this way, you can look back to previous beads on the string or forward to future ones. Just because your counting hand rests on one bead does not mean you cannot glimpse others. This can also be extrapolated into a beaded net of possible branching moments.
Proceeding with these assertions, your task for this working becomes to send your consciousnesses out into the vast expanse of the over-consciousness, from here tuning in to the frequencies of a specific event, person, or place, which will be the subject of our oracular meditation, and to cast your gaze forward down the net of possible futures to extrapolate likely patterns and outcomes for that subject.
As with most of my workings, you will call an Eidolon to assist with this task. An Eidolon is a disincarnate intelligence representing a specific protocol in the code library of existence, a being representative of a conceptual or existential notion. These can be abstract emotional world expressions such as hope or justice, or tangible material world things such as heat, light, or mathematical calculations that govern physical phenomena.
Eidolons are entities of collegiate interaction. They are not servants, masters, or familiars. They exist for the pure preservation, furtherance, or administration of the concept which they embody and steward. They cannot function against the protocol which they represent, nor would they ostensibly refuse to act in its interest.
The principal mode of interacting with an Eidolon is through a call, which is done using an Eidolon’s seal and sigil. You can think of a seal as the phone through which you may contact an Eidolon, the sigil as the phone number, and the call as the customary and expected greeting of your conversation.
For this working, we will be calling the Surveyor Eidolon. This, the 17th Eidolon listed in my first book, Seal, Sigil & Call: A New Approach to Ritual Magic, is representative of the principles that govern energy in the material dimension. This entity's seal is pictured below and its sigil is the protractor, which can be held in the dominant hand, drawn as a representation of on a slip of paper held in the dominant hand, or visualized upon the palm of your dominant hand.
The call can be enacted in a circle, as many traditions would recommend, which is a completely valid practice. However, the system of magic which I engage in is designed to be operational, lightweight, and efficient for on-the-go use as situations develop. As such, it is designed to function anywhere one might require through the use of both on-the-fly calling and the creation of emblems, which are pre-arranged agreements with Eidolons that trigger under certain conditions or circumstances.
The Seal of the Surveyor Eidolon
You will begin this exercise with the calling of the Surveyor Eidolon. You should do so from a state of calm, steady breathing and relaxed posture with the seal pictured above placed before you, or visualizing that seal in the eye of the mind, and while holding the sigil as either a physical protractor, a representation on a slip of paper, or visualized upon your dominant palm. After a few minutes of steady breathing and visualization, you can speak the following call:
“I stand in a circle of my own design and call you by the exponential spiral, surveyor who scintillates among the grand geometers of the most high. By weight and measure, shape and form, cipher and number, I call you forth in function to confer. Assist me in sending my gaze down the fractal web of time and calling it back to this anchor once my query is complete or my will so dictates.”
NOTE: In my system of magic, the phrase "I stand in a circle of my own design" denotes the concept that the magician, no matter the location of their physical body, is always able to step into the sacred sanctum within their own consciousness. In this phrase "design" means will, purpose, and devising.
Having completed this call, your next task is one of meditation, visualization, and tuning your mind to the frequency of your inquiry. If you are unable to visualize due to aphantasia, instead reflect on the concepts communicated in these instructions. Begin by visualizing yourself in the position you are now, as if you are hovering just above and behind you. Slowly begin to zoom out, as if floating further from yourself, viewing the room you are in, then the building, then the landscape around the building, then the continent, and then the glimmering blue sphere of the Earth that is our home. View this scene of our spinning mother for a moment before noticing a shift in your vision.
Suddenly, the Earth you have seen becomes only one of many hazy reflections of itself, all suspended in a line that then branches out in the distance to many futures you have yet to fathom. Here, focus on your question, what it is you are hoping to see, the subject to which you are tuning yourself. Feel the energy of the Surveyor Eidolon assist you in tuning, like a gentle hand upon the dial of an analog radio. After you have formulated the subject of your vision, feel the energy of the Surveyor Eidolon moving you, like a magnet pulling an iron filing, speeding you down the branching line of possible moments,which rush beneath you like blue beads woven in an intricate net.
You will come to a halt above one of these Earth’s, down the line of time. You will perceive a notion of how far you have traveled. Hours? Days? Months? Years? It will be known to you. In an instant you will zoom in to the Earth of that future, speeding toward your subject. Here you will observe them, receiving a vision of the future for that subject. Remember here that time is fractal and what you are seeing is only one possible future, but a close one, more likely than other strange branches the Surveyor Eidolon would have avoided, as it is a being of probabilities.
Your vision may come immediately or take time, spend as much time in meditation as you require before returning, which you can do at any time. Do so by feeling the anchor of your physical body and speeding toward it, the Surveyor Eidolon will assist you by reversing the polarity of the force it used earlier to pull your consciousness forward in time. Here you can focus on your breathing and the physical sensation of your body to ground yourself in your native timeline awareness. The Surveyor Eidolon will assure you are back to present consciousness before departing, the work having been done.
This exercise can be used as often as you’d like, but I would advise against dwelling too much in possible futures, as living in the current moment is how one creates and shapes those futures in the first place.
